It's both what you say and the way that you say it that gets results. Copywriting is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of any design yet it is often overlooked. The language, tone and content used will make the difference as to how long attention somebody gives your website or brochure etc and the extent to which they empathise with your brand and ultimately any action they then take.

Copy needs to be concise, punchy and in a relatively informal style. You need to focus on the benefits and relate to your readers, engage them, draw them into the site and then sign them up. Oh and then there's those fickle search engines to consider as well!

So if you're looking for the right words, get in touch. However if you want to write the copy yourself may we offer the following advice. If you're writing anything for your company, don't just write a huge list of facts and figures and expect people to be enamoured with your cleverness. It's OK to include a few choice morsels of information, but keep them quick, to the point and surround them with witty, engaging and (maybe) controversial snippets of prose. Don't, whatever you do, write facts in the form of a long (and probably boring) list.
